Hi there everyone and welcome to my blog! My name is Lauren, I'm 19 years old and I live in Glasgow. I'm a blue eyed, blonde haired vegetarian Lady Gaga and Owen Wilson fan. I love more than that, but it would take up more than one page. Well, alright here goes; Memebase, comedy movies, squirrels, ducks, Disney, glitter, Jem and the Holograms, Thunderbirds, Avengers, shopping, arts and crafts, Katy Perry, The Sims 3, Family Guy. I don't think I can breathe after that sentence. I mostly learned how to make jewellery myself, although some of it was taught at a local bead shop, which is my favourite place for a bit of retail therapy. So far I have just been making little practice pieces, gifts, etc, but I hope that someday I will be able to sell some of my work (not the one-of-a-kind stuff, that's for myself, family and friends only). The only things standing in my way is:
1) Not enough creative criticism
2) I have no idea how to tax what you sell online
3) I have very little knowledge of how to sell online
As you can see, help on those would be welcomed! Feel free to look around the blog, leave comments on pieces you like or think could be improved, follow the blog if you like what you see and vote on the poll!
Loadsa love,
Lady Hansel nee Zoolander (had to change it. Owen Wilson beats Ben Stiller this time!)

I didn't think it was possible to get over 100 pageviews in less than a month, but I have been pleasantly surprised! We now have over 700 pageviews, and it's all thanks to you, the viewers. Thanks guys! xxx

Purple Valentine
Since Valentine's Day is fast approaching, I thought I would make some jewellery featuring lots of lovehearts, so I made this flat kumihimo bracelet with a heart pattern and heart bead. It may not be traditional colour for a valentine, but let's face it, not everyone likes pink and red!

It's over 600!
I can't wait until I get 9000 views on my blog, that way this joke will make sense. Either way, yay, thank you for making it to over 600 pageviews! xx

Coming up Rosie...
Once again, the cabochons are from Jillian's Jewellery. I named these ones after my friend who I've known since I was five, Rosie, as these totally remind me of her!
Starbright
I know they look a little like the flag of Ghana. The rainbow star cabochons used in this pair of earrings actually came from one of my favourite suppliers and nieghbour, Jillian's Jewellery.

Feeling Fluttery
Made these this afternoon while watching The Fantastic Mr Fox and Ice Age 4. Finding it hard to choose my favourite, so I'm grateful I have an outfit to match each one!

Froot Salade!
This actually took me 2 days to make because my hands hurt so much from wrapping the wire. These are pictures of the same bracelet but flipped over so that you can see the different fruit beads used.

Truly Outrageous!
I'm not quite sure who inspired me to make this: Lady Gaga, Jem, Lady Penelope or Barbie. Either way, I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out. Hope you like it too!
500 pageviews!
Yaaaay! Thanks guys, we made it to over 500 pageviews in time for the new year. Here's to the next year and the next 500 views! Hooray and Happy New Year! xxx
Happy New Year!
I would like to wish my family (the members that I give a damn about and that give a damn about me), friends and everyone else in the creative community a very happy and prosperous 2013. I plan to make many more pieces of jewellery this year, so tune in frequently! xxx
