Hi there everyone and welcome to my blog! My name is Lauren, I'm 19 years old and I live in Glasgow. I'm a blue eyed, blonde haired vegetarian Lady Gaga and Owen Wilson fan. I love more than that, but it would take up more than one page. Well, alright here goes; Memebase, comedy movies, squirrels, ducks, Disney, glitter, Jem and the Holograms, Thunderbirds, Avengers, shopping, arts and crafts, Katy Perry, The Sims 3, Family Guy. I don't think I can breathe after that sentence. I mostly learned how to make jewellery myself, although some of it was taught at a local bead shop, which is my favourite place for a bit of retail therapy. So far I have just been making little practice pieces, gifts, etc, but I hope that someday I will be able to sell some of my work (not the one-of-a-kind stuff, that's for myself, family and friends only). The only things standing in my way is:
1) Not enough creative criticism
2) I have no idea how to tax what you sell online
3) I have very little knowledge of how to sell online
As you can see, help on those would be welcomed! Feel free to look around the blog, leave comments on pieces you like or think could be improved, follow the blog if you like what you see and vote on the poll!

Loadsa love,
Lady Hansel nee Zoolander (had to change it. Owen Wilson beats Ben Stiller this time!)

Shamballas again!

Okay folks, please let me know which of these is your favourite; splash, strawberry cream or sunset?

Rainbow Brite

I think I've become obsessed with my "use one of each colour" rule.  Oh well, I like it, and to hell with anyone else who doesn't!  With thanks to Magdalena from Magdabeads, I love my shamballas so getting them at such a good price is fantastic! xx

Macramade it!

My latest macrame bracelet.  Since I haven't made one in a while this one was a bit of an experiment, which has turned out pretty well if I do say so myself!  Hope you like it too!

Czech this out!

My Uncle Peter and Auntie Anne's Christmas presents, made using green and pink Czech crystal rondelles.

I would just like to wish all my family, friends and valued suppliers a very Merry (and sparkly beaded) Christmas! xxx

Love Bugs!

These wrapped wire bracelets were made using lucite leaves and glass ladybirds to look like bugs crawling across a branch.

Strawberries and Dreams

You know when you have a small amount of nice beads you cannot bear to use because they are too nice?  Well, that's how I feel about my strawberry beads.  Thankfully I finally found a good use for them.  This lovely matching earrings and bracelet set.

The Big Blue

The first of these sea-themed bracelets was made by mixing a selection of beads into a 'bead soup', and randomly picking them.  The second uses wire wrapping, a technique I have come to favour recently.

400 pageviews!

Thanks folks, once again you've made it to another milestone, 400 views! xxx

Ooh La La! French Fancy Rings!

I made these using Fimo clay, inspired by the wonderful Mr Kipling cakes.  Whaddya think?

Regal Beauty

This took a very long time to make.  It looks like a beadweaving project, but is actually a wirework project. I used high quality seed beads in lilac and gold, and 4mm Swarovski bicones to make the petals, then attached them to a comb.

More Wrapped Wire Bracelets

Another two I made.  The bottom one doesn't have a clasp yet, but works just as well on my wrist (I make the clasps myself!)

Wrapped Wire Bangles

A new technique I learned.  My favourite is the bottom one, it's made using Swarovski bicones!

Turkish Delight

A bracelet I made for a friend on request.  She liked it so much she posted it on Facebook before I could!

Art Deco Earrings

A matching pair of earrings for a bracelet featured earlier on my blog.

Strawberry Fool

Another spiral rope bracelet, only in pink.  Mmm, good enough to eat!

Seafoam Mermaid

How do you like this spiral rope bracelet made with green and blue seed beads?  The colours don't show up too well in this picture, in reality you can see there is actually a better range of blues and greens.

Americandylicous!

Happy 4th of July!  What do you think of my Americandylicious spiral bangle?

Hummingbird Heartbeat

The highlight of my day was making this, which I named after the Katy Perry song (it's not a single, for those who don't know it).

Spiral Seed Bead Bracelet

Another new technique, this took me nearly all day to make!

Jingle Charm!

My first phone charm with a bell on it!

Art Deco?

I made these today, took me ages to do, I reckon they look a bit Art Deco, but what do you think?

Aloha!

My Hawaiian style bracelet.

Ribbon Necklaces

I love the pendants on these, the elephant I ordered from Hong Kong and the heart came free off of a magazine.

Whoo! Scotland!

The cabochon from a keyring I made my cousin.

Feathered Earrings!

I adore feather earrings, so I had a go at making my own!

Wrapped Wire Spiral Bracelets

Okay, so I tried a different technique using wire to make bracelets without clasps that also are not tied, but that wrap around the wrist.
