Hi there everyone and welcome to my blog! My name is Lauren, I'm 19 years old and I live in Glasgow. I'm a blue eyed, blonde haired vegetarian Lady Gaga and Owen Wilson fan. I love more than that, but it would take up more than one page. Well, alright here goes; Memebase, comedy movies, squirrels, ducks, Disney, glitter, Jem and the Holograms, Thunderbirds, Avengers, shopping, arts and crafts, Katy Perry, The Sims 3, Family Guy. I don't think I can breathe after that sentence. I mostly learned how to make jewellery myself, although some of it was taught at a local bead shop, which is my favourite place for a bit of retail therapy. So far I have just been making little practice pieces, gifts, etc, but I hope that someday I will be able to sell some of my work (not the one-of-a-kind stuff, that's for myself, family and friends only). The only things standing in my way is:
1) Not enough creative criticism
2) I have no idea how to tax what you sell online
3) I have very little knowledge of how to sell online
As you can see, help on those would be welcomed! Feel free to look around the blog, leave comments on pieces you like or think could be improved, follow the blog if you like what you see and vote on the poll!

Loadsa love,
Lady Hansel nee Zoolander (had to change it. Owen Wilson beats Ben Stiller this time!)

Plastic Magic

A lot of people don't like plastic jewellery.  I for one do!  It's fun, colourful and cheerful, and doesn't look like someone just pulled it out of a scrapyard, shoved it around your wrist and all the yes men (and women) of the art world said "Oh that's a wonderful piece of art!".  Plastic is an honest material.  I'd like to thank my main supplier and neighbour Jillian of Jillian's Jewellery for supplying me with a lot of the charms and beads featured on this page and other pages on my blog.  Her products never fail to surprise and amuse me!
